Police on Thursday claimed arresting a notorious criminal named Ramazan Bhaio, son of Hadi, who is alleged to have killed three persons in Shikarpur district after they refused to pay ransom money. Personnel of CID's Anti Extremism Cell (AEC) said the suspect was arrested near the Truck Stand on the Maripur Road.

CID officials said that during initial interrogation, the accused had confessed that he along with his accomplices killed Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Adeeb Kumar and Dr Naveed Kumar in Shikarpur Ditrict. He said that the accused was a proclaimed offender and wanted by police in several cases. Police said they seized a Kalashnikov from his possession. The government had fixed a bounty of Rs 500,000 for his arrest, which would be awarded to the police party concerned.
